Breton MPs sent an open letter to the French Minister of Education
asking him to enforce the commitments made by the State in terms of
bilingual education. In a letter sent signed by eighteen Breton
MPs to the Minister of National Education, the signatories alert
Jean-Michel Blanquer on the non-compliance with the State-Region
Convention signed in 2015. The latter provided that the the number of
open positions in the bilingual Breton-French teacher's competition was
set to increase gradually from 15% in 2016 to 20% in 2020.
